Charles P. Pierce has a great article about the Chris Matthews’ disgraceful “interview” of Hillary Clinton this afternoon, titled This Is Not the Way the Democratic Campaign Should Be Conducted. He is spot on.
The interview itself is cringe worthy. Chris Matthews must have felt a tingle up his leg while feeding Hillary his own talking points. Matthews is so opposed to Bernie that he doesn't even trust Hillary to make the points he wants, so he makes them for her.

He doesn't just lob softball questions at her, but rather places the ball on a tee and hands her the bat!
Matthews: Can the Bernie people be taught—not him, he can't be taught—can the kids behind him be told that this is how it works in our system?
Can Matthews get any more patronizing?
As Pierce puts it, “Condescension, it appears, is not just a river in Egypt.”
Even if you are a Hillary supporter, it is still as sorry an attempt at journalism as I have had the misfortune to witness in a long time.
Pierce quotes Matthews at length and gives one scathing rebuttal after another. It’s a must read.
