Someone needs to check Chris Matthews’ coffee for drugs. From his tone and facial expressions, Matthews is sad with regards to Donald Trump’s video adventure with Billy Bush in 2005. Matthews has clung to the idea that Trump actually was important for contributing some ideas into this campaign: immigration reform, trade, and infrastructure. And isn’t it terrible that Trump went off of these major issues with all of this other stuff. What complete and utter bullshit.
First, there was this other guy called Bernie Sanders who was criticizing free trade policies with fervor. And by the way, Sanders was also recommending that we spend money on rebuilding American infrastructure. And Sanders proposed dealing with immigration policies.
And it was Sanders presence in the campaign that got Hillary Clinton to change her tune on free trade, at least publicly. However, Hillary also embraced infrastructure spending and fixing immigration. And she didn’t need Sanders for those proposals.
So did we really need fucking Trump for those issues?
Secondly, Trump’s innovative ideas on immigration were building a huge wall and deporting all undocumented individuals. No details. No real cost estimates. And all unrealistic.
Note to Chris Matthews: Look that shit up Dude! We have over a YEAR of Trump not talking specifics on his immigration plans.
Third, Trump just says that he will make better trade deals. That is not the same thing as an end to free trade. And his overpowering negotiating skills will be the basis of all his trade deals.
What about those specifics in Trump’s trade policy Chris?
Fourth, Matthews assumes that Trump is a hotel builder, so he must be GREAT on rebuilding America’s infrastructure. How much money will President Trump propose for infrastructure development? No one knows, but I suspect it will be ZERO because his tax cutting policies suck up any funding for roads, bridges, and highways.
So Chris, where are those pesky details on infrastructure development out of Trump?
I have watched as Matthews has continued to project what he thinks this election is or outta be about. And it is making poor old Matthews said that we will not be discussing these issues during the campaign, except Democrats have talked about these issues. The Republican candidate is not SERIOUS Chris! He has no plans! He is all lies and slogans! You need to wake up and smell your drug free coffee!
